Our department TWO and our bachelor students Chemistry are very happy to welcome 18 students from 5 different countries in Antwerp to participate in the Intensive Programme Nanochem 2012. The participating countries are Finland, Austria, Poland, Lithuania and Malta. During two weeks they will learn a lot about polymers, nanoparticles and characterization technics. Very enthusiastic students are working together during practical lab courses, preparatory work and presentations. We are very lucky to have a lot of external speakers and the coöperation of the industry. Therefore we thank PBM-UGent, Umicore, IMEC, SYSMEX, Scientific Benlux and Phenom.
